Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s Tuesday, February 14th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:

• Big and old: Vintage Barleywines are the subject of this week’s free Tuesday Tasting at Bierkraft (191 Fifth Ave., at President St., Park Slope)…

Proud to say our super-romantic* vday plans include pony bar with a few friends… We’ve been planning it for weeks… One of the presenters is an excoworker and current neighbor, which was why ot caught our eye in the first place… At first I was all ‘no way am I going there on vday, but then realized there was no reason not to - it wasn’t like we were going to do something else…

I’m curious as to the impact of the faux-holiday on the crowd…

*I’m pretty sure this is why I was given flowers and chocolate ;)
